While many of us were drought-free this spring and early summer, the summer’s heat and dry conditions have led to a return of drought, especially in parts of the Ohio River Basin. Parts of Ohio are now experiencing their worst drought since 1988 and parts of the Great Plains are in a multi-year drought. This webinar is a collaboration of The Current Webinar Series and the Soil Health Nexus Digital Café and featured experts in Kansas, Minnesota and Ohio discuss how their region’s producers are preparing and adapting to drought, whether they are currently experiencing dry conditions or not.
